What is the best Language translator device out on the market?

I am looking to spend under 500 usd and i am wondering what is the best language translator device. there is nothing really specific i am looking for, but something that can wow me, and help me. I am living in korea, and i am going to be traveling for a few years. I want to pick up many different languages and i need a device that could help me.What is the best Language translator device out on the market?
I would suggest either trying to learn the language using an online guide site and BBS (it's how I learnt Japanese for free) or if you really just want to look for quick translations - use an online translator native to Korea. They're usually much more accurate than babelfish and google. Unless you want a phrase translator?
