Good luck|||you don't necessarily need a qualification in translating, my boyfrined is a freelance translator has been for 6 years but has no translating qualification, although he has many others qualifications, but he has very accurate knowledge of his source language and that which he translates to it's very hard to become a translator in a language that isn't native to you, you would need to build up a client profile , ask local councils or businesses for documents to get started, good luck it's a very well paid and interesting job :)
