Does anyone know a really good credible free online language translator website?

I need a website that can really translates for me in the following languages: Spanish / French / Italian / German/ Russian / JapaneseDoes anyone know a really good credible free online language translator website?
There is no such thing as a "good credible free online language translator website".

Here is an example of what happens during the online "translation" process. I input the following text into an on-line translator:

When I beheld her beautiful face, I fell down on the ground and worshiped the angelic vision of her loveliness

And got out the following Russian:

Когда я созерцал ее красивое лицо, я не справился с основанием и поклонялся ангельскему видению ее очарования

I then input that Russian text into the same on-line translator to translate back to English and got:

When I beheld its beautiful person, I have not coped with the basis and worshipped ангельскему to vision of its charm

You can see the problem.

There is NO substitute for human translators--NONE.
I'm afraid there's no such thing. On line translators translate just the words, they don't know anything about grammar.

Also, when a word has several meanings, they use just one, no matter if it makes sense or not.

They are not reliable at all.. some of the translations can be really hilarious.. and some just crazy..:-)

Machine translations (MT) are not reliable. Machine translation systems produce what is called a "gisting translation" - a rough translation that gives the "gist" of the source text, but is not otherwise usable.

You can find services that offer FREE human translations ... but generally they accept to translate between 100-200 words.

Check my blog for more info:

I really would not recommend any online translators because you are never sure if they are accurate, and 99% of the time they arent.
I agree with the others about machine translation with a caveat:

If you only need to get the gist of what is being said, it can be a pretty good deal....
wordreference.com is the best website for italian spanish and french. It also has a forum so you can ask native speakers the definition of words in different contexts or find the meaning of a word that may not be in the dictionary. It also has a verb conjugator and will recognize verbs even if they arent in the infinitive form. I use it all the time. its the best one i've found.
