. There is NO way you're going to be able to translate his sound into a writen language. Just enjoy his unique friendship.

IF he wants you to learn the language, he'll have to help you, not just play with you with his speech.

When he talks in tagalog, just give him a blank stare and don't say anything. He'll soon grow tired of the game.

"...Some example of dialectal differences are:

Many Tagalog dialects, particularly those in the south, preserve the glottal stop found after consonants and before vowels. This has been lost in standard Tagalog. For example standard Tagalog ngayon (now, today), sinigang (broth stew), gabi (night), matamis (sweet), are pronounced and written ngay-on, sinig-ang, gab-i, and matam-is in other dialects.

In Morong Tagalog, [r] is usually preferred over [d]. For example, bund贸k, dagat, dingd铆ng, and isd芒 become bunrok, ragat, ringring, and isra. " ... etc.

"Tinatawag tayo ni Tatay. ~ "Father is calling us." .
