Can i develop language translator software using vb.net that is from engllish to tigrigna?

i am a student in unoversity and i want to develop a software that translates from english language to tigrigna language .if some one needs to know the meaning of Coffee then he/she types that word then press the provided button ,it gives the meaing of that word in tigrigna. and it translates the entire document.

so shall i be successful?

do i need tables that contain thousands of words? if so, how huge will be the number of pages?

please i am not experieced programmer so it will be better if you give me good explanations and if possible source code examples.

YES, thatz very much very possible..



But you have to store thousands of words (along with their

translations in other language, in your case TIGRIGNA)..



If you need just Word to word translation, Code will not be very lengthy. You can accomplish this task by writing just nearly 80 statements...



But if you want to translate whole of the document, then a slightly more lines are required...But keep in mind, that it would provide only word to word translation.



In the new translated text..there is just no GUARANTEE of accurate Grammer...in most of the cases grammer rules are violated....If you want to do the GRAMMER part also..then believe me ..it will be a real cumbersome task for you..Because no one has succeeded in finding all such rules Yet. !!!
