I am finding it difficult to locate jobs in Georgia for Sign Language Translator positions. The traditional methods of search ( monster, career builder, hotjobs, etc...) don't net any finds. Anyone have any info on the job market in this field in the Atlanta area or where to find these jobs listed?How can i find jobs as sign languare translator in georgia?
Schools and universities are always looking for sign language interpretors because by law they have to provide these services to students who are deaf of hard of hearing. They also tend to advertise their jobs only on their own websites, so check out the websites of all the educational institutions around you (from kindergarten to college).
