I am trying to translate Chinese labels so it would help if I can draw the characters or scan or use a phone camera like we use it for reading bar codes on boxes.Is there an online translator for Chinese or any language where I can scribble the character?

On this website, you can write what the character looks like and it'll show up. Then you can just paste the character after you find it into a translating website and it should work.

I use this site all the time. If you know the PinYin of the character, type it in and all characters in the language with that PinYin will show up and you can look through it all. Or if you know what it means in English, type in the English and you'll find it!
